Facebook has introduced new rules for advertising for people under the age of 18
Giants such as Google, Amazon, Apple, Facebook and Microsoft were called in September last year to stop advertising for people under the age of 18. In response to this call, Facebook has announced to stop advertising under the age of 18 according to their own interests in the timeline.
The Facebook authorities announced this on July 27.
According to news agency Reuters, advertisers will not be able to target users under the age of 18 based on their age, gender and Facebook usage, as well as their location on Messenger and its photo-sharing platform Instagram.
A Facebook spokesperson said that even if the ad was stopped, there would be no change in user data.
