After recovering the body of the actress, the police sent her for autopsy. Police initially thought the actress had committed suicide.

Hemant told the media that Chitra went back to the room to take a bath. Hemant thinks that he did not come from the bathroom even after a long time. He knocked on the door. He called the hotel staff without getting any response. They found the body of the actress hanging to open the door with a duplicate key.
